The Unseen Balance: Proving the Law of Conservation of Mass!
At Nazli Tech
School, we believe that science is not just a subject, it’s an experience!
This week, our students explored the fundamental Law of Conservation of Mass
through a hands-on chemical reaction between baking soda and vinegar in
a closed system.
The experiment is simple yet powerful: students measured the total mass of the reactants before mixing and the total mass of the products after the reaction. Even though the reaction produced carbon dioxide gas that visibly inflated a balloon, the total mass remained essentially unchanged. This clearly demonstrates that atoms are neither created nor destroyed, they are merely rearranged during a chemical change.

Learning Experience!
At Nazli Tech
School, learning doesn’t stop at observation, it begins with participation.
We just published a new lesson video on the topic “Law of Conservation of
Mass”. This is designed to help students experience concepts firsthand,
ask the right questions, and build confidence through real experimentation.
We invite students,
parents, and educators to join our science lessons and interactive classes,
where complex ideas are broken down into engaging, practical experiences that
inspire curiosity and critical thinking.
